Public Engagement is an important part of the department's work. It underpins support for our use of public money, helps train our scientist and inspires the next generation. During this session Martin Christlieb, the Department's Public Engagement Manager, will introduce you to what public engagement is, the audiences we engage, and the environments we work in. Throughout this session we will use and explore the games and props and the places where they might be useful. It will be hands-on and fun! We will cover schools, public talks, busking, festivals, and lab tours.

Course is open to all staff in the Department of Oncology, University of Oxford.
